Cycle 2: Seafarers//A Winterdream Born

14/8 - 25/8, 2026

stargazing daily:
the new issue has the scoop!
a lunar blessing?

soft star, whisper to me now
and it will carry us home

Scorpio rises
Over moonspills
And under Cancer’s
Cradle endlessly rocking—

Let’s follow our natal charts

touchdown, sea landing
at the surface, i grasp you—
pull you by my side

the stars above reflected
in our eyes, and the ocean

Cool waves
Wash the grains
Tidal caress

know the first splash is
always cold as we peel back
these rawest layers

but then we can swim deeper
so much deeper than you thought

Twenty thousand leagues
Under our skin

adrift on the waves
five hundred fifty-two hours
with you by my side

sea stretches beyond our sight
yeah, many more hours to spend

Paws swiping Baltic tears

She’s beaming over brine

The eversea dew lingers
from the twenty-fifth—

let's lose where one starts
and the other ends between
lips and fangs and claws

even in the storm
you anchor me to solid ground
swaying together

i can see the clouds clearing--
will you take me by the paw? ♡

Lighthouse on the cliff—

I say “I will” with
Starlit certainty

Crystallize these words
Between the flickers of flame

On our trow
The seas cast shadows in reverse over the rudders

They crosshair the drunken crescent
Roaming the misty mutiny; a bearded ghost, no thought since 1692

This vagabond is stuck with a bandit track record and dirty paws—
Remember Tallinn where the world spun off its mortal coil?

We were moored in Petrograd shortly after
Where we cameo’d in an evening painted red with landlords

And here the Baltic is plump and prime
So let’s dive, Swan

a small spit of land
lonely lighthouse sending out
a song of warm wax

binding us with its signal
through the wires, fate had us meet

an E major chord
struck my heart

transatlantic transmissions

putting the invention
of radio to shame

Mites, dust, stars and swirls
Speckle our attic, cosmic ceiling, lunar loft,
Our winterdream green

we can fit the stars
in the umbra of the moon
as it hangs over the

starlit sea, which just found me
pining for her, needle pile

“it feels like we're two souls that have danced this dance many, many times before”

“Would you care for one more dance then?”

“one more that stretches into the vast, warm infinity?

“we'll twirl together in this life and the next”
